Linda Piotrowski

This special conference is for those facing a life limiting illness, those who have cared or are caring for someone with a life limiting illness and are seeking a more peaceful and dignified end of life experience. It is also for the professionals who serve them.

The morning session, Love and Parachutes: Shaping the Final Chapter of Your Life will be presented by Stephen Kiernan a renowned lecturer, investigative journalist and advocate for compassionate end of life care. Stephen will offer a “hopeful, vision for patients, doctors and families” and alternatives that will aid in clarifying priorities that will profoundly affect the dying as well as their families and friends.

The afternoon session, Every Ending Has a Story: Uncovering the Sacred in Life’s Journey, will be presented by Linda Piotrowski, board certified chaplain and Spiritual Care Coordinator at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Linda, a well known lecturer on spiritual care in palliative services will help us to access “the power of spirituality as a healing therapy offered to patients and their loved ones while engaged in the medical system.” She will present tools to assist those journeying toward the end of life.
