Swim Route ~.5 mile |
The Willie Schmidt Memorial Swim for Hospice is a
non-competitive, open water swim in Lake
Champlain to support the end of life services of
High Peaks Hospice & Palliative Care throughout
its 4,600 sq. mi. service area.
The swim begins at 9:00am at Camp Dudley on Dudley Road, Westport NY. Participants will
complete the swim at their own pace and those who wish will be given a shorter swim route. The
swim will take place in a protected cove at Camp Dudley.

Quick Details:
The entrance fee for swimmers is $25.
Each swimmer 18 and older must raise at least $75 in
individual pledges**
Each swimmer 14-17 must raise at least $50 in individual pledges**
Complimentary breakfast, swim cap and goodie bag for each participant
Free event t-shirt if you register by August 5th
The swim begins at 9:00am

No snorkels, water wings, or any other swimming
assistance items will be allowed. Wet suits will be allowed.

You can register by filling out the online registration form on this website and submitting it electronically, by printing out the printable registration form and submitting by mail, by calling 518-891-9631, or by stopping in at one of our offices and picking up registration and sponsorship forms. If you register online remember to print a pledge form to track those who are sponsoring you or direct them to fill one out online. |

Volunteer Boaters needed!

We will need a volunteer cadre of experienced kayakers
and canoeists spotted along the swim route to make sure the swimmers are safe.
